In memory of 2nd Lieut R.E.E. Skyrme 1st Wilts Reg killed in action 6.12.17 This cross marked the grave of 2/lt. R.E.E. Skyrme who was killed in Ploegsteeert Wood 6.2.17

In loving memory of Richard Edward Elcho Skyrme 2nd Lieut. Wiltshire Regiment. killed in action in Ploegsteert Wood. February 6th 1917. Aged 22 years. Buried in Rifle House Military Cemetery. "He shall not see death for ever"
